Description

Origin: Nevada, USA

Description: Howardite can be brittle. It is a blend of agate and opal. When cut properly, it yields some of my favorite opaque stones. The contrasting pattern that changes so often and distinctively makes for a truly unique and wonderful gemstone.

Howardite, also known also known as "Rattlesnake Jasper" and “Royal Flamingo Jasper” is an Opalized silicate with a distinctive interwoven and banded pattern and is noted for its rich golden yellow and pinkish-brown colours. Howardite bestows joy in your worldly life. It draws out attention to the more colourful sides of life and awakens the desire for variety and distraction. The watery vibration of it's opal makes this stone a perfect tool for connecting with the Devic Realm of water.
Ancient greeks believed the opal had the power of giving foresight and the light of prophecy to its owner.  Opal is a delicate stone with a fine vibration. It enhances cosmic consciousness and induces psychic and mystical visions.
