Description: Aegirine, also known as Acmite, which is a sodium iron silicate mineral commonly formed in the alkali-rich volcanic rock. Aegirine is black to greenish or brownish black looking similar to tourmaline but have a slightly rougher appearance. The individual crystals are generally opaque to translucent. The crystal habit includes long prismatic shards which generally form in clusters. Aegirine is a very strong stone that operates on a high vibrational frequency. It aids in clearing and protecting, especially that of which is filled with negative energy, specifically psychic attacks.
