Description: This one of a kind bicolour Tourmaline specimen from Afghanistan features a stout pink Tourmaline crystal paired with smaller olive-green to yellow-green Tourmaline crystals attached along one side. The main crystal shows a solid prismatic shape with clear vertical striations, a semi-translucent body, and a soft pink to salmon tone. The attached green crystals add contrast and give the piece a natural cluster look. There is visible matrix, surface wear, and some incomplete or contacted areas, which is typical for rough pegmatite material and helps show that the piece is natural and unpolished.

Tourmaline is one of the better-known pegmatite minerals and comes in a wide range of colours. The pink material is commonly grouped under rubellite when the colour is strong enough, while the green material is often classified as green elbaite. Afghanistan is a well-known source of collector Tourmaline, especially from pegmatite districts in Nuristan and Kunar, where pink, green, and multicolour crystals have been found for years. Based on appearance alone, this piece likely came from one of those northern pegmatite localities, though the exact mine cannot be confirmed from photos alone.
