Description: Oregon carnelian is natural. The red may sometimes only be on the surface, and other times throughout the center. If the centers are not red, they will be blonde. The agates are river worn and weathered so they have no matrix.|
The standard commercial grade carnelian you see will elsewhere have been heat treated to be fully and homogenously red. Oregon carnelian is as natural as possible without heating.
