Mined from: Morrison Formation, Utah, U.S.A.
Era: Mesozoic
Geological Age: 155–148 mya
Description: This one-of-a-kind dinosaur vertebra from Utah shows a thick, naturally sculptural bone form with grey, charcoal, tan, and dark brown coloring. Its recognizable vertebral shape gives the specimen a strong natural-history presence, with broad rounded ends, a recessed central contour, and rugged fossilized bone surfaces throughout. The exterior displays porous bone texture, visible fossil grain, raised ridges, cracks, weathered cavities, and mineral-filled areas, giving it a raw, authentic look compared with cut or polished dinosaur bone slabs.
