The crystal has a broad hexagonal prismatic form, flat reflective faces, visible growth lines, and a partly stepped termination. Internal fractures and veils catch the light through the clearer sections, while rusty orange iron staining follows several surface seams near the upper end. A small amount of pale matrix remains attached along one edge, and the natural contact areas and minor edge wear are visible throughout.\u003cspan aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchor\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"1357\"\u003eAquamarine is the greenish-blue to blue variety of beryl, although material with a stronger green or yellow-green cast is sometimes sold as green Aquamarine or green beryl. Northern Pakistan is an important source of specimen-grade Aquamarine, with crystals recovered from high-altitude granitic pegmatites throughout Gilgit-Baltistan. Nagar District includes several recorded Aquamarine localities, including Chumar Bakhoor, Mandoosh-Bar, Phakker, Muchara Nala, and Inna Nala.
