The iron inclusions can occur in various patterns, giving each piece of hematoid quartz a unique appearance. Hematoid quartz is typically found in regions with iron-rich geological formations.

Hematoid quartz is thought to promote stability, emotional healing, and energy clearing, helping to absorb negative emotions and transform them. Hematoid quartz is also believed to amplify intentions, support strength and protection, and aid in balancing physical, emotional, and spiritual energy.
