Description: Madani Lapis is the highest grade in the world. There are about 5 different mountains lapis lazuli is mined from. This is the most coveted version as the stone is almost entirely blue. there are very minimal areas of the white calcification.
We also have a darker version of this same Madani Lapis available to purchase by piece in the Raw Crystal Section.
Lapis lazuli itself is not a mineral, but rather a rock composed of several minerals. The main component of lapis lazuli is the mineral lazurite, which gives it its distinctive blue color. Additionally, lapis lazuli generally contains calcite, which appears as white-grey veining, as well as pyrite, which appears as metallic gold flakes.
