Obsidian Tear, also called Apache Tears. The name Apache Tears comes from the Apache tribe in the 1870's. Legend has it that around 75 Apaches fought the US Cavalry in what is now called Superior, Arizona. They were drastically outnumbered and death was imminent, so instead of being killed the warriors rode their horses off the mountain to their deaths. When their children and wives found out what happened, they cried and when their tears touched the ground they turned to stone. Giving us the name Apache Tears.
