Origin: The Central District in the Bobonong area, in north-east along the Motloutse River, and in the Serowe area south-west of Bobonong, Botswana
Description: These pink Botswanas aren't easy to come by. There is a moratorium on export which means its illegal to get rough Botswana agates out of the country.
When grinding these, some have a thin white skin that flakes, and there are the odd cracks in them. The colors are vibrant and there is a mix of tightly compacted banding, as well as plain pink color ones.
