Description: Tourmilated Quartz is clear quartz that contains natural needle-like inclusions of black tourmaline. These towers from Brazil show strong contrast between the transparent quartz and the dark tourmaline rods running through the stone. The tower shape highlights the internal inclusions while providing a clean geometric display.

This material forms in pegmatites where quartz and tourmaline crystallize together. As quartz grows, it can trap already-formed tourmaline crystals, preserving them inside the quartz. Brazil is one of the most important global sources for both minerals and produces large quantities of high-quality tourmilated quartz.

Metaphysically, tourmilated quartz is believed to combine the amplifying qualities of quartz with the grounding energy of black tourmaline. It is often used to support balance, mental clarity, and energetic protection.
