Description: Trilobites were a diverse group of marine arthropods. Think of them as little beetles that scurried along the ocean floor. Coltraneia Trilobites had "tower eyes" that were full of hundreds of eye facets which gave them a wide view of any potential predators. Coltaneia Trilobites first appeared during the Early Cambrian and went extinct during the Permian mass extinction.
