Fine needle-like inclusions, reported as actinolite (not lab-tested), show through the clear quartz. It was hand-cut by our cutters in Jaipur, India. Watch us dig at the King Citrine Mine on Mount Breakenridge on YouTube. You will receive the exact stone shown in the photographs.

The material comes from the King Citrine Mine on Mount Breakenridge near Harrison Lake in southwestern British Columbia. Actinolite is a calcium, magnesium and iron amphibole that commonly grows as thin, hair-like crystals, and in included quartz those crystals are enclosed as the quartz grows around them.

Inclusion quartz like this is cut mainly for what is inside it, so the inclusions take the place of colour as the feature of the stone. Quartz sits at 7 on the Mohs scale.

In crystal traditions, actinolite quartz is often associated with grounding, protection, and personal growth, and quartz is commonly regarded as an amplifying stone. These associations come from spiritual and folk traditions rather than scientifically established properties.

Chemical Composition: Quartz: SiO₂; Actinolite: Ca₂(Mg,Fe)₅Si₈O₂₂(OH)₂

Mohs Hardness: 7 (quartz host)

Treatment: Natural/None

Quantity: 1pc

With this product, you will receive the actual stone shown in the photograph.
