Description: This high grade Colombianite specimen from Colombia has a clean, glassy interior beneath a natural weathered texture, look with a soft grey, smoky, lavender, or pale champagne tone depending on the piece and lighting. Colombianite is usually sold as a natural glass specimen, with rounded water-worn shapes, smooth surfaces, small pits, flow-like texture, and a translucent body when held to strong light. 

Colombianite is commonly marketed as a tektite, though its exact classification is not as firmly established as better-known tektites like Moldavite, Libyan Desert Glass, or Indochinite. In the mineral and collector trade, it is often described as a natural silica-rich glass from Colombia, sometimes grouped with tektites, pseudo-tektites, or impact-related glass depending on the seller and source. 

Spiritually, Colombianite is often associated with higher awareness, intuition, dream work, meditation, and personal transformation. Many crystal users treat it similarly to other tektites, using it for deep inner work, spiritual growth, and clearing old patterns. Its softer colour and glassy feel give it a calmer presentation than darker tektites, while still carrying that “old earth glass” collector appeal.
