Origin: Cowichan Lake and 100 Mile House, British Columbia, Canada
Description: Most of this rhodonite is from Cowichan Valley. There are however pieces added from when I dug at the 100 Mile House mine. Rhodonite has a black exterior due to oxidization. Normally, the interior has a beautiful pink color. However these ones have yellow Rhodonite. Some have pink and white, but most of these pieces are significantly yellow.
Sometimes it will be more pale and white, almost fleshy. It can also go grainy and rosy red. The color ranges, even in pieces side by side coming out of the ground.
It takes a nice polish.
