Origin: Found in the Green River Formation of Wyoming, USA
Description: There are hard, agatized turtitella shells scattered throughout the rock. The entire stone is agatized and solid. It takes a great polish and the shells are abundant throughout it.
Age: 45-50 million years old

Cracks: Minimal
Mineral: Minimal- This is a solid stone to work with. The rind gets a bit softer in areas, but overall, a good agate for lapidary.
