Mined from: Phosphate mines in the Atlas Mountains, near Khouribga, Morocco

Era: Cenozoic- Paleocene and Eocene epochs 

Geological Age: 60 to 45 mya

Description: Otodus was mainly made up of cartilage, not bone, so not much of their skeletal structures have fossil records. 

Otodus likely ate large bony fish and other sharks, it was one of the top predators of its time. 

Size approximately: 60mm x 50mm x 20mm

Weight: 20g
