Mined From: Sieroszowice Mines, Lubin-Glowgow Copper District, Poland  

Description: In late 2016, geologists working in the Sieroszowice copper-halite mine discovered very colourful and rich halite mineralization in one of the old tunnels. The tunnel was located quite far away from any active areas so collecting these halites was difficult and time-consuming, making them very rare. After several weeks the total amount of good quality specimens collected was about 200-300.
