Description: Mini trilobites are small-sized species or juvenile forms of trilobites, an extinct group of marine arthropods that thrived during the Paleozoic Era (521–252 million years ago). These miniature fossils often range from a few millimeters to just over a centimeter in length, with some species remaining tiny even in adulthood. While trilobites varied greatly in size, many species were naturally small, and others were simply early developmental stages (larvae and juveniles) of larger trilobites. These tiny trilobites lived on ancient seabeds, and likely played key roles in early marine ecosystems as scavengers or filter feeders.
