Description

Mined from: Pakistan

Description: These are small freeform facets. Unlike a tumble, which is shaped smooth all over, these have small flat faces cut over the surface of the gemstone, giving them a greater level of luster and shine. They are hand cut, instead of machine finished.

Morganite is a pink to orange-pink variety of the mineral beryl, which is the same mineral family that includes emerald and aquamarine. Its beautiful color, which can range from a soft pastel pink to a more intense salmon or peach hue, comes from trace amounts of manganese. The gemstone is named after J.P. Morgan, a prominent financier and gem enthusiast, who was a major patron of the gem industry in the early 20th century.

Morganite is believed to help with emotional healing and balance, promoting feelings of love, compassion, and understanding. It is often used to aid in releasing past traumas and fostering forgiveness. Known as a stone of divine love, morganite is thought to enhance love and kindness in relationships. It is said to attract loving energy and deepen emotional connections.
