Description: Blue Helenite—sometimes called Mount St. Helens obsidian—is a man-made glass produced using volcanic ash from the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens. The ash is melted and combined with coloring agents to create a vivid, gemstone-like material with strong brilliance and an emerald-like refractive sparkle. Although often marketed as a gemstone, Helenite is technically a laboratory-produced glass derived from volcanic material.

These Blue Helenite melee rounds are small, precision-cut faceted stones designed for jewelry work that requires consistent size and reliable sparkle.
