Description: These Brachiopods have been squashed and crushed by the weight of the earth, then Fossilized, They appear flat and thin because of this. Brachiopods are composed of two halves which are called valves and were similar to a clam. Brachiopods have internal feeding structures that draw in water to then filter out any particles that they could eat. Brachiopods live in cold marine environments like polar seas.
