Quartz is a common part of specimens from the district and may occur as individual terminated crystals, small clusters, milky masses, or as part of a Quartz-and-albite matrix. Material attributed to areas such as Zard Mountain often shows dark, lustrous Anatase positioned directly on or beside pale Quartz crystals, much like the combination seen here.
