Description
Mined from: Campo del Cielo meteorite field, Gran Chaco region, Argentina
Description: This one of a kind Campo del Cielo meteorite specimen has a broad, rugged shape with a dark black-brown oxidized surface and strong metallic highlights along the raised edges. Its uneven form, natural pits, cavities, and sharp broken textures give it the look of a small iron landscape, shaped by atmospheric entry, impact, weathering, and time.
Campo del Cielo meteorites come from a famous iron meteorite field in northern Argentina, where fragments from an ancient asteroid impact were scattered across the Gran Chaco region. These meteorites are mainly iron and nickel, representing material from the metallic core of an early planetary body that formed in space long before it reached Earth.
Spiritually, meteorites are often associated with grounding, transformation, cosmic awareness, and connection to something far older than human history. Many people are drawn to them because they are physical pieces of space, carrying both scientific importance and a strong symbolic link to the wider universe.
