These creatures were among the largest terrestrial mammals of their time, with adult males weighing over 1,000 kg. Zoolithen Cave was once a denning site, its deep limestone chambers preserving thousands of skeletal remains under layers of calcite and clay.

Discovered as early as the 1700s, Zoolithen Cave became one of the first fossil sites to challenge medieval beliefs about giants and dragons. Its significance lies not only in the abundance of well-preserved bones but also in its historical role in shaping early paleontological science. This particular specimen is a genuine Ice Age relic—a fragment of megafaunal history that connects us directly to a colder, wilder Europe. Each piece is legally and ethically sourced, often showing mineralization and the unique patina of calcite deposits from the cave itself.

Mini
Approximate Size of 1 piece: 65mm x 9mm x 8mm
Approximate Weight of 1 piece: 3.5g

Small
Approximate Size of 1 piece: 65mm x 12mm x 8mm
Approximate Weight of 1 piece: 5g

Medium
Approximate Size of 1 piece: 85mm x 13mm x 10mm
Approximate Weight of 1 piece: 11g

Large
Approximate Size of 1 piece: 100mm x 13mm x 11mm
Approximate Weight of 1 piece: 13g

X-Large
Approximate Size of 1 piece: 100mm x 24mm x 20mm
Approximate Weight of 1 piece: 24g

2X-Large
Approximate Size of 1 piece: 100mm x 24mm x 24mm
Approximate Weight of 1 piece: 28g

3X-Large
Approximate Size of 1 piece: 100mm x 34mm x 30mm
Approximate Weight of 1 piece: 72g

Quantity: 1pc

We do our best to buy quality products- although not every rock is the same.
