Description: These Hildoceras ammonite fossil halves from Somerset, England feature natural split fossil sections showing the classic coiled ammonite form preserved in earthy limestone. Each half displays ribbed spiral detail, chamber structure, and natural beige to grey-brown fossil tones, making them appealing as educational fossils, collector pieces, or natural history display specimens. 

Hildoceras is a well-known Jurassic ammonite genus found in Somerset, especially around Ilminster's Beacon Limestone Formation. These ammonites lived in ancient marine environments during the Early Jurassic, and Somerset examples are often dated to roughly 175–180 million years old.

Spiritually, ammonites are often associated with grounding, transformation, ancient wisdom, and the cycles of life. Their spiral form is commonly viewed as a symbol of growth, evolution, protection, and the natural movement of time.
