The bleach will not damage any variety of opal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\" data-end=\"1448\" data-start=\"1012\"\u003eThe rubber bases are intentionally dense and heavy to prevent the bell jars from tipping over. Some rubber bungs may have excess material that protrudes slightly beyond the edge of the bell jar. While still functional, this can be visually distracting.
