Description: This one-of-a-kind rutile quartz is a 7.65 carat Tablet Cut, a long, narrow shape with angled ends and a broad, flat table framed by narrow step-cut bevels, in a thin, slab-like profile. Fine golden needles of rutile run lengthwise through the clear quartz. It was hand-cut by our cutters in Jaipur, India.

Rutile quartz, also called rutilated quartz, is clear quartz that grew around fine needle-like crystals of rutile, a titanium oxide mineral. Brazil is a well-known source of this material. The needles are the feature of the stone, so it is cut to show them off.

In crystal traditions, rutile quartz is often associated with focus, clarity and amplifying intention. These associations come from spiritual and folk traditions rather than scientifically established properties.
