Description: Think of them as little beetles that used to scurry along the ocean floor. Calymene Genus survived many mass extinctions and lived until the end of the Paleozoic age. Trilobites range in size with the smallest being 1mm and the biggest being 72cm long. Trilobites ate anything smaller than themselves and were diverse because some were scavengers, others predators, and also filter feeders.
