Beschreibung

Locality: Boston Bar, British Columbia, Canada

Description: This amazonite comes from "Boston Bar, BC.". Though, it's really a one and a half hour drive off the highway into logging roads that are now decommissioned. We rebuilt the road to get in, but it has since been decimated and the site is now inaccessible, and will likely remain such.

Amazonite is a green to blue-green variety of microcline feldspar. In these pieces it sits in granite, giving each tumble its own mix of colour.
