Beschreibung

Mined from: Rembang area, Central Java, Indonesia

Description: This one of a kind Calcite mineral specimen from Indonesia features a dense covering of pale cream to milky white Calcite crystals arranged in rounded, flower-like clusters across the display face. The crystals have a sharp, pointed habit with semi-translucent edges, a soft glassy luster, and a light beige undertone that gives the piece a warm natural look. The back and side views show a rough tan matrix with small open pockets and druzy growth, while the front is packed with layered crystal sprays that create a full, bright, textured display.

Calcite is one of the most widespread carbonate minerals on Earth and is known for its wide variety of colours, crystal habits, and geological settings. It is composed of calcium carbonate and commonly forms in sedimentary, hydrothermal, and cave environments. Calcite is especially recognized for its rhombohedral cleavage, vitreous lustre, and strong reaction with mild acid. Indonesian Calcite specimens are appreciated by collectors for their bright crystal clusters, natural matrix formations, and attractive display presence.

Spiritually, Calcite is often associated with clarity, cleansing, energy flow, emotional balance, and mental focus. White and clear Calcite are commonly connected with purification, calm, and amplified intention. Many collectors enjoy Calcite as a display mineral for its bright, uplifting appearance and its connection to fresh energy, organization, and renewal.
