Gabbro is a coarse-grained igneous rock that forms slowly beneath the Earth’s surface as magma cools. The Madagascar material commonly sold as “Gabbro Alto” is valued for its striking contrast between dark minerals and lighter reflective inclusions, making it popular for decorative carvings and mineral displays.
