Description: This one of a kind Mosasaurus vertebrae fossil in jacket from Morocco features a prepared section of exposed vertebrae and bone fragments set into a sandy tan matrix. The piece has a rough white outer jacket, giving it the look of a field-prepared fossil while keeping the bones supported and display-ready. Several large vertebrae are visible along one side, with additional broken bone sections spread through the surrounding matrix.

The fossil has a dry, natural texture with worn surfaces, cracks, sediment, and uneven bone detail throughout. The vertebrae show the round, stacked structure expected from spinal material, while the surrounding fragments add to the overall fossil bed appearance. Mounted on a stand, this specimen has good size and weight for a shop display, fossil room, office, or natural history collection.

Mosasaurus was a large marine reptile from the Late Cretaceous period, and fossils like this are commonly recovered from Moroccan phosphate deposits.
