Beschreibung

Locality: Midway, British Columbia, Canada

Description: Ocean picture rock is often cut as cabs to produce an oceanic scene. The host rock becomes beach sand, the blue the water, and white areas become clouds in the sky. Some pieces are great for this, others are not.
The stone is a jasper.

In crystal traditions, ocean picture rock is said to be a calming and nurturing stone, and it is associated with the root, throat and crown chakras.

Appearance: Opaque
Inclusions: Some pieces have significant host rock. There are minimal cracks.
