Beschreibung

Locality: Cowichan Lake, British Columbia, Canada

Description: This yellow rhodonite is from Cowichan Lake, BC. Rhodonite has a black exterior due to oxidization. Normally, the interior has a beautiful pink color. However these ones have yellow Rhodonite. Some have pink and white, but most of these pieces are significantly yellow.

Sometimes it will be more pale and white, almost fleshy. It can also go grainy and rosy red. The color ranges, even in pieces side by side coming out of the ground. 

It takes a nice polish.
