Aventurine is a type of quartz mineral that comes in a variety of colors, including green, blue, yellow, brown, and gray. It is characterized by its shimmering or sparkling appearance, which is caused by tiny inclusions of mica or other minerals within the quartz.
Aventurine is commonly used in jewelry making, as it is relatively hard and durable. It is also used in decorative objects such as vases, bowls, and figurines.
Traditionally, green aventurine has been called the "stone of opportunity" and associated with good luck.
