Descripción

Mined from: Campo del Cielo meteorite field, Gran Chaco region, Argentina

Description: This one of a kind Campo del Cielo meteorite specimen is a dark iron meteorite fragment with a rugged, naturally sculpted shape. The surface shows black-brown oxidation, glossy metallic highlights, deep pits, and uneven fracture textures, giving it a strong display presence for a small but dense extraterrestrial specimen.

Campo del Cielo meteorites come from one of the most famous meteorite fields in the world, located in northern Argentina. The fall occurred roughly 4,000 to 5,000 years ago, scattering iron meteorite fragments across the region. Like most iron meteorites, Campo del Cielo is believed to come from the metallic core material of an ancient asteroid, preserved as iron-nickel alloy after surviving entry through Earth’s atmosphere.

Spiritually, meteorites are often associated with cosmic perspective, transformation, grounding, and connection to forces beyond Earth. Collectors are drawn to them not only because they are rare natural objects, but because they are physical pieces of space with a history far older than human civilization.
