Description: Lemon calcite is a delightful variety of calcite renowned for its vibrant lemon-yellow coloration, reminiscent of the zest and brightness of freshly squeezed lemons. The vibrant yellow color this crystal is known for is imparted by trace iron impurities which become trapped within the crystal lattice as it forms.
Other than its vibrant color, one of the most striking features of lemon calcite is its translucent to transparent nature, which allows light to pass through the crystal, enhancing its luminosity and brilliance. When held up to the light, lemon calcite can exhibit a beautiful glow, illuminating its lemon-yellow hue from within.
