Description: This large wall-mounted fossil display features numerous mosasaur vertebral centra exposed across a curved brown-grey matrix. The vertebrae range from small circular cross-sections to thicker raised segments, with visible concentric growth patterns and porous internal bone structure. Several vertebrae remain partly embedded, while others have been prepared in relief to show their rounded ends and layered sides. The irregular crescent-shaped slab and included metal mounting brackets make it a substantial wall display for a fossil room, office, shop, or collection.

Mosasaurus was a large marine reptile that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, roughly 66 to 82 million years ago. Moroccan mosasaur fossils are most commonly recovered from phosphate deposits in the Khouribga and Oulad Abdoun Basin region, an area well known for marine reptile fossils, shark teeth, fish remains, and other ocean life from the end of the dinosaur age. These animals were not dinosaurs, but powerful sea-going predators with long bodies, paddle-like limbs, and strong jaws built for hunting fish, ammonites, and other marine animals.

The specimen has a natural, worked-out presentation rather than a fully reconstructed skeleton, which gives it a more honest fossil bed appearance. The exposed bones are set into the original-style matrix, with some areas raised and others partially embedded, showing the way the material was preserved and prepared. This is a strong display piece for a fossil collection, retail shop, office, showroom, or natural history themed space, especially for anyone looking for a large Moroccan marine reptile fossil with real presence and a rugged finish.
