Description

Description: This capped crystal pendant features natural quartz with actinolite inclusions from British Columbia, shaped and finished as wearable jewelry while still keeping the character of the original crystal form. The quartz may appear clear to milky, with green to dark green actinolite running through it in fibrous patterns. As a pendant, it has a raw but finished look, combining the structure of a crystal specimen with a simple setting that makes it easy to wear.

The silver cap is hand-forged in one of two styles: a smooth polished finish with a polished bail, or a hammer-textured, planished design paired with a custom hand-carved bail that I carved myself. Whether or not that makes it special to you, know this too — I personally dug these crystals from the earth myself.

Actinolite-bearing quartz forms in metamorphic environments, where heat, pressure, and mineral-rich fluids alter existing rock and allow new minerals to grow together. The quartz develops as silica-rich fluids cool and crystallize, while the actinolite forms as an amphibole mineral under metamorphic conditions, often in calcium- and magnesium-rich rocks. Material from the Mount Breakenridge area of British Columbia is especially interesting because the region is known for quartz and associated mineralization formed through complex geological activity tied to metamorphism and hydrothermal processes.

Actinolite quartz is often chosen by people who are drawn to stones associated with grounding, strength, and protection. Quartz is commonly linked with clarity and amplification, while actinolite is often associated with resilience, focus, and steady personal growth. Together, they are often seen as a combination that supports balance, clear intention, and staying grounded while moving forward.
