Description: This one-of-a-kind clear quartz gemstone is a 9.36 carat lozenge cut, a diamond-shaped step cut with four straight sides and two pointed ends. It is colourless and eye-clean, and its long parallel facets show off that clarity. It was hand-cut by our cutters in Jaipur, India. You will receive the exact stone shown in the photographs.
The quartz comes from the King Citrine Mine, from the metamorphic rocks of Mount Breakenridge near Harrison Lake in southwestern British Columbia. Colourless, transparent quartz like this is often called rock crystal. A step cut suits clean material, because the broad, flat facets work like mirrors and make any inclusion easy to see.
Quartz is silicon dioxide and sits at 7 on the Mohs scale.
In crystal traditions, clear quartz is often called a master healer and is associated with clarity, focus and amplifying intention. These associations come from spiritual and folk traditions rather than scientifically established properties.
