Description

Mined from: Cabiche, Quipama Municipality, Western Boyaca Province, Boyaca Department, Colombia

Description: This one of a kind Mango Quartz with Halloysite mineral specimen from Colombia features a lively cluster of translucent quartz crystals with warm golden-yellow Halloysite inclusions. Larger prismatic points rise above a dense bed of smaller, glassy quartz needles, creating a bright, textured formation with strong natural dimension. The specimen shows soft honey, cream, and pale champagne tones throughout, with rusty brown matrix accents that add contrast and highlight the natural Colombian formation.

Mango Quartz is a collector name for quartz that contains yellow to orange Halloysite inclusions, giving the crystals their distinctive warm “mango” coloration. This material is most closely associated with the Cabiche area near Quipama, Boyaca Department, Colombia, and is sometimes sold under the broader Muzo emerald mining region. Halloysite is a clay mineral related to the kaolinite group, while quartz remains one of the most recognized and collected minerals in the world.

Spiritually, Mango Quartz is often associated with joy, clarity, optimism, and energetic renewal. Quartz is commonly viewed as an amplifier of intention and focus, while the sunny Halloysite coloration is often connected with warmth, creativity, confidence, and uplifting personal energy.
