Description: This one-of-a-kind specimen features an extensive, highly textured growth of native silver with contrasting dark grey acanthite and small areas of white to cream calcite. The silver forms intricate branching, granular and coral-like masses with warm metallic silver-bronze tones, creating an open, sculptural shape with numerous cavities and projections. Broad, irregular acanthite masses occur across the surface, providing a strong matte grey contrast against the metallic silver.

Native silver is elemental silver that occurs naturally without being chemically combined into another mineral, although it is commonly found alongside silver sulfides such as acanthite. Both minerals commonly form in hydrothermal vein systems, where mineral-rich fluids circulate through fractures in rock and deposit silver alongside gangue minerals such as calcite. 

In metaphysical traditions, native silver is associated with intuition, reflection, protection and heightened awareness. Acanthite is often connected with grounding, transformation and releasing stagnant energy, while calcite is associated with cleansing, clarity and the movement of energy.
