Description

Mined from: Morrison Formation, Utah, U.S.A.

Era: Mesozoic
Geological Age: 155–148 mya

Description: This one of a kind dinosaur bone fragment from Utah has a dark polished face with deep brown, burgundy, and nearly black colouring. Fine preserved bone-cell texture is visible across the surface, while the rough outer edges show the natural porous fossil bone structure. The piece has a bold, blocky shape with one cut and polished side, making it a strong display specimen.

The Morrison Formation is a Late Jurassic rock unit famous for producing sauropods and other dinosaurs. Over millions of years, groundwater carried minerals into the bone, filling the tiny internal spaces and turning the original bone into stone while keeping much of its cellular structure visible.

Spiritually, dinosaur bone is often connected with endurance, grounding, ancient strength, and survival through deep time. This specimen carries a solid, earthy feel and appeals to collectors drawn to fossils as symbols of resilience and old-world power.
