Description: Howlite is a calcium borosilicate hydroxide mineral known for its white to gray color with dark veining, often resembling marble or porcelain. Howlite is lightweight and affordable making it great for cost-effective jewelry and decorative items. It is also soft enough (Mohs 3.5) to be easily carved and shaped making it an ideal material for detailed carvings.
Traditionally, howlite has been considered a stone of calm, awareness, and emotional balance. Its soft, white color with gray veining resembles marble, symbolizing peace, patience, and clarity. Traditionally, it has been used in meditation.
