Mined from: Lithuanian Baltic coastal deposits, Lithuania
Era: Eocene
Geological Age: 34–48 mya
Description: This Baltic Amber mineral specimen from Lithuania features natural fossilized tree resin with warm honey, golden yellow, orange, and brown tones. The piece may show natural internal bubbles, cloudy areas, plant debris, flow lines, or small organic inclusions, giving it the classic character Baltic Amber is known for. Its lightweight feel, warm colour, and ancient resin origin make it a good collector specimen, display piece, jewelry material, or natural history gift.
Baltic Amber is fossilized tree resin, not a true mineral, and is one of the best-known fossil materials from the Baltic region. Lithuanian amber is part of the larger Baltic Amber deposit, which is generally associated with Eocene-age forest resin, commonly estimated around 34 to 48 million years old.
Spiritually, Amber is often associated with warmth, protection, cleansing, comfort, and life energy. Many collectors value it for its connection to ancient forests and preserved natural history.
