Description: This one of a kind Harpes trilobite fossil specimen from Morocco features a glossy black trilobite raised prominently from a pale grey limestone matrix. The specimen has a broad rounded cephalic shield with long, sweeping genal spines that curve upward and outward, giving it a dramatic sculptural profile. Fine ribbing is visible through the thorax, while the smooth prepared matrix provides strong contrast against the dark fossil and highlights the trilobite’s distinctive shape and three-dimensional preparation.

Harpes is a distinctive genus of trilobite known for its wide, perforated head shield and sweeping crescent-like outline.
