Description: These rose quartz mini spheres are perfect little marbles of rose quartz that make great pocket rocks. They have a lovely soft pink color, and are very clean and gemmy inside.
Rose Quartz is a popular quartz variety that gets its soft pink color from microscopic fibrous inclusions of a pink borosilicate mineral related to dumortierite known as "dididumortierite", as well as trace impurities of titanium, iron, or manganese. Although well-formed macro crystals of this quartz variety have never been discovered, Rose Quartz is commonly found as translucent masses made of microscopic intergrown crystals. Rose Quartz is an attractive carving material with widespread use in jewelry and decorative objects.
