描述

Mined from: Stanley Butte, Arizona, U.S.A.

Description: This one of a kind Andradite Garnet mineral specimen from Stanley Butte, Arizona features a heavy coverage of dark brown to smoky black garnet crystals across a rough golden-brown matrix. The crystals show sharp geometric faces, with many blocky dodecahedral forms packed tightly together across the main display side. Several faces have a metallic to glassy shine, while others show natural surface wear, fine growth lines, and earthy coating. The back and sides show more exposed host rock, giving the piece a solid, rugged look with good contrast between the dark garnet and iron-stained matrix.

Andradite is a calcium iron garnet and one of the main species within the garnet group. It can form in several colours, including brown, yellow, green, black, and reddish tones, depending on trace elements and growing conditions. Arizona has produced a range of garnet specimens from skarn and contact-metamorphic environments, and Stanley Butte material is known for earthy matrix specimens with well-formed brown to dark garnet crystals.

Spiritually, Andradite Garnet is often associated with strength, stamina, grounding, and steady forward movement. Many people connect it with confidence, protection, and practical motivation rather than soft or dreamy energy. It is commonly chosen by collectors and crystal users who want a stone tied to endurance, structure, and getting through hard work.
