In Ocean Jasper, this process is part of how the stone forms within the volcanic cavities or pockets of basalt rock. Over time, the stone’s colors and textures are influenced by the minerals present and the conditions under which it formed, creating the colorful and varied patterns seen in Ocean Jasper today.
